Thought Fractions

Creative Thoughts from Fractions of Life.

The long story of me…

Who am I?

Thought Fractions has been in many names, many forms, but it has always been providing comprehensive creative services by the Vancouver (Canada) based Creative Consultant, William Chan

From the bottom of my heart, I don’t like writing a cold introduction (as a third person) of myself like many other designers do to make myself sound professional (or commercialized) because I believe in natural and warm human interactions and communications.

I have been a professional print + prepress specialist in the digital and commercial (offset) printing industry for over 3 years. The extensive experience in print design, and knowledge in materials and production methods have placed me in advantage compare to many other graphic designers in the field. The reason is that I know more secrets and tricks to ensure the finished products exceeds my clients’ expectations.

Other than my full-time job as a printer, I live my life as a design-thinking person. Why don’t I call myself a designer? Because it’s a job title and it does not define how I live my life. Creativity lives in every fractions of my daily life, and I gather inspirations from everywhere, everyone and in every moment. And by living and sharing my creativity, it empowers me to be a person who helps others to find and solve all sorts of problems. And this doesn’t mean I can make a living (simply put: money). However, at the very least, I know I am living with fulfilment and happiness. Despite all these idealistic words, I have to admit, with the pressure from society, I ought to give myself a working title that sits in between a dreamer and a designer: a Creative Consultant.
